Cold-Weather Cords
Oh the weather outside is frightful...and those thin jeans don't keep little legs warm the way they should. That's why we love a soft corduroy for winter warmth! Dressy ones, casual ones, cords for boys, girls, and babies...we got our hands on them all!
Deux par Deux and Charlie Rocket have both created boys corduroy pants that take him from school events straight to the sledding hill!
Girls will dig the New York designs of Wati and their array of pants, skirts, and corduroy dresses. Pair them with one of Wati's Velvet Coats for extra snuggly warmth! And for babies, nothing is cuter than the European flair of Catimini's Spirit Couleur Corduroy Floral Dress!

Special Occasion Clothing for Kids
With the holidays just one short week away (yikes!) we know there'll be lots of recitals, parties, and dinners to attend. And as much as we know the kids prefer a tee and jeans, casual clothes just won't suffice. Fortunately, European designer Jean Bourget has created a Special Edition line that's perfect for all those holiday events!
For boys, you'll have no trouble getting him to wear the Jean Bourget Special Edition White Dress Shirt. Soft cotton wears like his usual button-downs but with a subtle, snazzy detailing that will have him looking so debonaire! Try layering the Black Sweater Vest over it for extra warmth and pair them with the Herringbone Pant to complete the handsome look!
For girls, we just adore the Jean Bourget Special Edition Cinched Dress. It's made of a soft stretch fabric that will have her comfy cozy the whole night through. And for an extra bit of glam, the Faux Suede Coat will have her stealing the spotlight and feeling like a superstar!
Jean Bourget hasn't forgotten the babies, either! You'll find an array of soft velvets for baby girls, like the Bronze Velvet Dress and matching Velvet Cropped Jacket. And baby boys will be as handsome as ever in their Jean Bourget Tiny Special Edition Plaid Pant and Navy Dress Coat.

Room Seven spreads the love in a sweet, girly way with long sleeve girls tees with embroidered "Love" script--choose from red, pink, or grey. Makes every day feel like Valentines Day!

Our Favorite Mittens for Winter!
Kenzo is a European line known for its use of vivid colors and Asian-inspired designs. This fall/winter season, Kenzo has released a new line called Techno Jap, which offers babies, toddlers, and even big girls brightly colored knits in shades of fuchsia, green and royal blue. But their girls winter gloves and mittens are absolutely the best part!! They're made from a combination of acrylic, polyester, and mohair for extra softness on little fingers. The gloves with the little smiling faces on the fingers is my favorite! We also love the Kenzo Toddler Techno Jap Mittens, which gives her one pink mitten and one blue!
In the boys gloves department, we can't get enough of French designer Catimini's Collegiate Mittens. Catimini makes a glove that's youthful yet delightfully preppy for those little future Harvard grads. Made from a cotton and wool blend, these mittens are insanely snuggly and warm.

Little Hipsters
The dropped waist is the latest trend in girls dresses and we couldn't be happier. This chic style has her looking feminine, modern and oh-so fashion forward.
California designer Baby Nay has created a youthful hipster dress in two gorgeous patterns: Rose Toile for the girly girls and a funky Scribble Dots pattern for the wild child in your home.
Chipie, another designer we adore, makes their drop waist dress out of luscious velour in deep, rich purple tones. The turtleneck collar and uber-soft fabrics are perfect for the upcoming winter.
Jean Bourget is no stranger to high fashion designs, and their Limited Edition Drop Waist Dress is no exception. Loose-fit stretch fabrics are as comfortable as they are stylish, and the bubble hem is just too cute for words!

Hoodie Goodies
We love a comfy hoodie on kids--it's the perfect way to make sure they stay bundled and warm with out the struggle getting them to wear their scarf and hat.
Catimini gives him a green striped pull-over hoodie with front pockets to keep those little digits warm too. Deux par Deux makes boy's hoodies equally cool with grafitti prints and inner lining that's extraordinarily soft and cozy.
In the zip-up category, what's cooler than the Charlie Rocket Sage Snowboards Zip Hoodie? The sleek snowboard screen print on the back of the hoodie has him looking ready to tear up the slopes.
And finally, Jean Bourget takes the hoodie to new levels, giving it a surprisingly sophisticated twist! The Tiny Casual Zip Hoodie Cardigan offers a woven vest front that's as handsomely charming as it is warm. And the blazer/hoodie combination featured in Jean Bourget's Tiny Authentic Corduroy Blazer/Hoodie...I mean, seriously, how cool is that!?

Give Her a Twirl!
What little girl doesn't love a good, twirling skirt? It's the essence of being a girl! Wati's Charlie Grey Tiered Skirt is hands down a top twirling skirt. Don't be fooled because it's made of linen, it's a heavy weave and doesn't crinkle and fold like other linens.
The French know their fashion and so does Lili Gaufrette, a fantastic French company that designs, European childrens boutique clothes. Without fail, the Lili Gaufrette Lambimo Skirt will delight her and provide a her with a top level twirl. Oilily, the name just brings a smile to our faces. The Oilily Twixy Skirt with blends of oranges and pinks will be a blurr as she twirls by.
It doesn't always have to be a girl for a full twirl affect, Room Seven's Drew Patchwork Dress can hang with the best of the twirl skirts. There are plenty of options this Winter season, let her twirl into the season in style.

Top it all off...
Remember when mom nagged us not to go out into the winter cold without a hat on? Well now it's OUR turn to nag the kids...but wouldn't you know it, their hats and scarves are actually STYLISH, not the home-knitted, oversized concoctions we wore. Pictured is the oh-so-adorable Catimini Naissance Hat & Scarf set for our youngest little snowbunnies. Too cute!

So rest assured, moms--little heads will stay warm this winter!

Preppy Boy
What's his look...skater, surfer, sporty? One look that never goes out of style is the preppy look. IKKS boy's Striped Sweater has got the classic preppy stripes and the colors too! But IKKS's doesn't do classic--it's jazzed up with a knit undershirt for an urban-meets-preppy look. Of course, you can't say preppy without thinking Argyle. IKKS adds a little contemporary style with old-fashioned argyle with their IKKS toddler boy's argyle hoodie. Meanwhile, Catimini gives young boys the collegiate look with this striped and argyle sweater (don't forget the matching hat and gloves). And finally, Charlie Rocket (known for it's California style) know's that every boy loves stripes and every mom loves clean polo's! Take a look at Charlie Rocket's 2fer Polo Tee, boyish stripes and that good ol' preppy polo.

Sweet Dreams
I suppose I'm not one to talk about pajamas. Not to divulge T.M.I., but an old tee is enough for me to throw on and curl up under the covers in. But there's something so...I don't know...winter-y about a matching pair of kids pajamas. Makes me think of Christmas morning and long weekends spent indoors playing games. I suppose these childhood memories are why some of the best kids pj sets are made just for kids. We love the children's pajama line, At Home Pajamas, because each pair offers unique patterns to fit his/her personality: cars, kitties, robots, snowboarders, hearts...and even (my personal favorite) cupcakes!

Easy baby shower gifts
Over the years I've been to my fair share of baby showers. At some point, I fell into the mode of buying the same baby shower gifts regardless of who the new mother was going to be. After a certain number of showers, I can only be so creative and have just run out time.
I've recently found Beau-Coup which is a great resource for baby shower gifts. No more running around from retail store to store trying to find something unique. It's all there at the click of a mouse, no wasted gas or hours trying to find something special.
Even better, when you're putting on the baby shower, they're a one stop shop for baby shower favors. They've got a huge selection of all sorts of neat stuff that will make the event special. I mean, who wouldn't be impressed by personalized mints for your girlfriends shower?
I've got them bookmarked in my browser for the next time I have to put on a baby shower. They are definitely a one stop shop for baby gifts and baby shower supplies that will help make the day a fun and fabulous event.
